Fishing VIllage 3 - Beached (Watercolour, 9in by 11in)

This is a picture of fishermen cleaning fishing boats of barnacles and other parasites that can destroy their livelihood, and also make repairs to damaged wood. They do this every six months or so, I recall, sometimes under the hot sun so that paints and resin used to plug holes in the wood will dry faster

Fishing Village 2 (Watercolour, 9in by 11in)
A typical fishing village in Malaysia. Only coconut trees grow luxuriantly here because they are able to bend with the wind. The house is on stilts because at certain times of the year, when the sea moves too deep in, the house remains dry.
